"Mottainai"環境セミナー6回目、無事終了しています。
今、ケニアに米国のオバマ大統領が来訪中で、厳戒体制がしかれているのですが、 主要道路等が封鎖された関係で、いつも参加していただいているACEF様の参加が残念ながら難しくなり、今回は、私たちだけでの単独開催となっています。
それだけではなく、いつものように、環境セミナーの案内をコミュニティでして歩いていると「オバマがきているから、参加できない」とか、えぇ、それって直接関係ないんじゃ・・・と思われるような、ことも言われたりして、どうなるかな、と正直不安に思うところも多かったのですが、LBIケニアチームが、非常によく協力しあって、会場も満席（100名余）、内容も、"Mottainai"の考え方を丁寧に説明するところから始めて、今、地球で起きている気候変動が、いかにコミュニティでの生活と関係しているか、さらにコミュニティレベルでの環境活動がどう貧困改善とつながっていくか、をLBIのメンバーが説明、最後は、いつものように、ゴミ拾い運動で終了しています。
セミナー中にアンケートも実施していますが、「セミナーだけではなく、LBIの活動にも参加したい！」「Mottainaiがよくわかりました」等、うれしいコメントもたくさんいただいております。
